The Scandic drainage system with dimensions 125/87 is recommended for residential projects. The product range is available in 10 colors and can be made in copper and zinc variants.
The primary purpose of a rainwater drainage system is to ensure the directed runoff of atmospheric precipitation (rain, snow) from the roof surface and its evacuation to the ground or drainage system. Over 40 years of extensive outdoor testing in locations around the world ensure that SSAB steel products withstand the harshest climate and weather conditions, including wind, rain, snow, saltwater, ice, UV radiation, high humidity, and storms.

Additionally, the clip-on closures of gutter and downspout straps significantly ease the installer’s effort during installation and allow the system to be dismantled if necessary.
High load resistance
The corner piece joined with the gutter straps is a unique innovation on the market. It helps evenly distribute the forces acting along the length of the gutter due to the load, preventing the corner piece from sagging. Other components that contribute to the system’s rigidity include the embossed gutter hooks (CJ), galvanized joining elements (EJ), and gutter stabilizers (SJ).
Enhanced watertightness
The gaskets used on the gutter straps and corner pieces are the most commonly found, ensuring a perfect seal of the gutter system against water infiltration. The gutter end caps are also equipped with sealing gaskets, eliminating the need for silicone.
Possibility of collecting water in external tanks
Rainwater systems provide the possibility of collecting water with the help of the collection element – EC, or into the drainage system (via the rainwater separator – DEP for later use or controlled discharge). The rainwater separator allows access and cleaning of the water collection area from impurities and various debris.

What are the delivery terms for the systems?
Delivery can be free. Delivery within the Chișinău municipality region is free for purchases of at least 10,000 lei, while delivery elsewhere in the country is free for purchases of at least 30,000 lei.
What is the difference between regular pre-painted sheet metal and SSAB GreenCoat RWS sheet metal?
SSAB GreenCoat RWS (Rainwater Systems) sheet metal is specifically designed for drainage systems. It features special flexibility and allows profiling of all components without damaging the paint.
Are warranty certificates issued for purchased systems?
Yes. RoofArt issues warranty certificates for the RoofArt Scandic drainage system, valid throughout the Republic of Moldova.
Why is it important for the sheet metal used in production to be painted on both sides?
The sheet comes into contact with water on both sides. Unlike metal tiles, where only the exterior side is directly exposed to water, in drainage systems, water also contacts the interior surface.
Why do we recommend using metal drainage systems over plastic ones?
Plastic drainage systems have two major disadvantages. The first concerns the color shade. When exposed to sunlight, white systems turn yellow over time, while colored systems fade and become white.
